Our friends at Newzoo and the Casual Games Association have just released their latest research on global Smartphone and Tablet gaming.
The most interesting finding? That across every single age group and demographic, mobile gaming adoption is increasing rapidly. For example, US consumers aged 50+ have adopted mobile games at a startling 148% YoY with European consumers 50+ at 66% YoY. But the most wonderful finding is that every single demographic plays mobile games – everyone is a gamer!
Therefore, branded mobile games have become a very cost-effective communications channel to reach, but most importantly to connect, with multiple demographic targets with just one game.
